Sasha Kay Fountain, 16, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, September 7, 2026, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Sasha was born on August 24, 2010, in Kirksville, Missouri.

Sasha is survived by her father and mother, Drew and Brianna (McRoberts) Fountain of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Isabella Dawn Fountain of the home, two brothers, Roman Easton Fountain and Lincoln Aaron Fountain of the home; grandfather, Dale Fountain of Kirksville, MO, her grandmothers, Kathy Attebery of Kirksville, MO, and Cheri McRoberts of St. Louis, MO; great-grandparents, Herman Fountain Jr. of Kirksville, MO, and David and Audrey Thompson of Perryville, MO; as well as several uncles, cousins, and friends.

Sasha was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Connie Fountain.

Sasha was a sophomore at Adair County R-1 High School in Novinger, where she was a Ladycat softball player. She also loved playing summer softball, crocheting, putting puzzles together, painting, drawing, playing card games, and being with her family.

Sasha will be remembered for having a goofy personality, being full of love for her family and friends, for being a beautiful and amazing young lady, and for helping others in need.

Public visitation with family receiving friends will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from noon to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service following in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Interment will follow immediately after the service near the family home.
