David Alan Shrouf, 64, of Macon, Missouri, passed away on June 26, 2026.
Born on June 12, 1962, in Concordia, Kansas. David graduated from Kirksville Highschool in 1980. David lived a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
David was a devoted father to his sons, Kail Shrouf and his wife Aria, and Cody Shrouf and his fiancée Terrin. He took immense pride in raising his boys and found great joy in the legacy they created through their families. David was a loving grandfather to Gabriella Shrouf, Samantha Shrouf, Karter Rude, and Kaesyn Shrouf. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
David is also survived by his brother Gary Shrouf and his wife Lisa; his sister Kristy Robinson and her husband Ron; and his brother Jackie Shrouf. He was predeceased by his parents, Opal and Jackie Shrouf; his brother Tom Shrouf; nephews Gary, Jessie, Roger, and Billy Shrouf; his eldest son Wesley, and his cousin Matt.
In his younger years, David enjoyed hunting and trapping alongside his cousin Matt. He had a lifelong passion for classic rock music and Sundays were sacred for watching NASCAR races with his son, Cody. These simple joys reflected the essence of who David was, a man who found happiness in the company of loved ones and the traditions that brought them together. David’s kindness left a mark on everyone he met. Known as a friend to all who crossed his path, he never knew a stranger. To know Dave was to love him.
David’s memory will live on through the family he adored and the countless lives he touched. May those who knew him find comfort in remembering the laughter he shared, the love he gave so freely, and the legacy of kindness he leaves behind.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 12th 2026 at Hurdland Lake at 1:00 PM.
Arrangements were taken care by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
