Conner Todd Sevits
-
Connor Todd Sevits made his way into the world February 18, 2025 at 1:28pm and entered heaven shortly after. All 6lbs 5oz of him is perfect in every way. He was surrounded by love for every second he lived, by his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles. His oldest sister Claira was able to help bathe him, dress him and give him all the extra love he needed until he left our arms.
Connor is survived by his parents, Joel and Meredith (Thomas) Sevits; one brother, Charles Wayne Sevits; two sisters, Claira and Evelyn Sevits; grandparents, Jami and Janine Sevits of Kirksville and Doug and Becky Thomas of Brashear; great grandparents, Charles (the late Ginny Sevits) of Kirksville, Jack and Evelyn Thomas of Gibbs, and Beth (the late Pete) Petree of La Plata; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
His time on earth may have been brief, but it made a lasting impact on our family, and we will forever be thankful to have him as our son, brother, cousin, grandchild and nephew. We know there are two great grandmas fighting over him in heaven and he will be taken care of until we meet again. He was simply too perfect for this world, which is saying a lot since after all, he is a Sevits boy.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Alan Coonfield presiding. Interment will immediately follow in the Hazel Creek Cemetery near Kirksville.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC).
