Lonnie Eugene Byrn, 83, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Lonnie was born April 19, 1941 the son of the late Lingo and Alla Lou (Winn) Byrn.

Lonnie was a member of the Bible Grove Christian Church and was baptized in 1958. He spent most of his life in Kirksville as a car salesman. He enjoyed belonging to the Northeast Missouri car club and showing his cars at numerous car shows in which he won several trophies, additionally he worked as a DJ for the Kirksville Radio Station on Sunday mornings as Lon Williams.

Lonnie is survived his son Jerry Robuatellini of Wasslla, Alaska; his sister, Barbara Moore of Rutledge, MO, and a long time friend, Carolyn Snow of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by two granddaughters, one grandson, six great-grandchildren, two nephews, three nieces and many cousins and friends.

Lonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lonnie's long time friends, Bill Lovegreen, Chris Ashford, Greg Miller, Earl Kuhl, Rick Byrn, Brian Selby, John McCurren, Cory Waddle, Don Price, Nate Schoonover, Sean Frotheim, and Ferrel Moots.

Lonnie has been cremated and a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
