Blake Thomas Blackburn, 32, of Liberty, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at North Care Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri.

The son of Garry Ray and Peggy Jo (Johnson) Blackburn, he was born July 28, 1991 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Blake is survived by his parents Garry and Peggy Blackburn of Liberty, MO; his sister, Baylee Blackburn of Liberty, MO; his grandmothers, Carol Shrouf of Connelsville, MO, and Eva (Dan Ebert) Johnson of Downing, MO; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Blake was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Shrouf.

Blake was a graduate of Novinger R-I High School with the Class of 2010. He enjoyed Chicago Cubs baseball, Indianapolis Colts football, Marvel, watching TV, and Rock music, but most of all he loved time spent visiting with his family and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Novinger Cemetery in Novinger, Missouri, with Pastor Jeff Dodson officiating.

No public visitation will be held and arrangements will be taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
