Well known to many Joseph (Joe) Howard Wyatt 59, of Green Castle, MO, as well as Bradenton, FL (from 1992-2011), passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving wife, Sheila, children Alex, Jasmine, and Jessica, as well as his siblings Randy and Terry.

He was born July 1, 1964, the son of the late William (Bill) David Wyatt and Geneva Lucille (Drummond) Wyatt of Novinger, MO. On June 30, 1990 Joe was united in marriage to Sheila May (Hutcheson) Wyatt. Joe is survived by his wife Sheila of the home, one son Alex (Kristi) Wyatt of Kirksville, MO; two daughters Jasmine (Tyler) Hamme of Kansas City, MO, and Jessica Jones (Matt Clawson) of Kirksville, MO; his brother Randall (Fran) Wyatt of Warsaw, MO; and a sister, Terry (Dennis) Freed of Lee’s Summit, MO. Joe had ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leon and Willa Hutcheson, of Kirksville, MO.

Joe was born in Kirksville, MO and raised in Novinger, MO. He was a member of the graduating class of 1982. Prior to his death, Joe was employed by Akers Railroad out of Richmond, MO. In 1982 Joe completed basic training in the Army National Guard in Fort Sill, OK. In 1993 he received his honorable discharge in Kirksville, MO. In May of 1988 he completed the Law Enforcement officers training school of crime scene seminar. In August of 1988 he also completed the Constitutional Law Seminar. Joe worked several years at the Adair County Sheriff’s Office in Kirksville, MO.

Joe’s past time included riding Harleys, singing karaoke, going on side-by-side rides, hunting, going snagging with his brother, and being the life of the party! Joe always looked forward to spending time with his children, grandchildren, family and friends.

It was Joe’s wish to be cremated. A visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 5-7pm at Travis-Noe Funeral home with services to begin at 7 pm, officiated by Virgil Jones.
