Lawrence Russell Hoover, 81, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

Born November 20, 1942 in Iowa, Lawrence was the late son of Willis David and Ellen Maye (Propst) Hoover.

Lawrence is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Will and Carrie Hoover of Honolulu, HI; one sister, Nancy Benedict of TX; two nieces, Debra Benedict and Laura (Benedict) Scott and husband Bruce Phillips, as well as one great niece, Sidney.

Mr. Hoover was a psychologist for forty years for Laughlin and KCOM Hospitals in Kirksville.

It was his wish to be cremated and no service will be held.

Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
