Mary Patricia "Pat" Hubbard, 77, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at Samaritan Hospital in Macon, Missouri.

The daughter of the late Thomas Clyde and Verda June (Blair) Irby, she was born June 12, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. On January 26, 1990 Pat was united in marriage to Will "Shorty" Hubbard.

Pat is survived by her husband Will "Shorty" of the home; one daughter, Sandra Tyer of Cushing, OK; one son, Randall Tyer of Tulsa, OK; two step-sons, Dustin Dale of Gunnison, CO, and Howard Hubbard of Bloomfield, IA; one brother, Larry Dean Irby of Checotah, OK; two grandchildren, Vayda and Harmony; seven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, William (Amy) Hubbard of Kirksville, MO; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Hubbard of Kirksville, MO, and Mildred (Jerry) Findling of Greentop; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pat was a graduate from Sapulpa High School in Oklahoma, with the Class of 1963. While residing in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was employed as a bank teller and head cashier at Liberty Bank. Pat was last employed fifteen years in Tulsa in the seafood department and as a door greeter for Wal-Mart until retiring. She and Shorty later moved to Kirksville, Missouri to make their home.

Pat has been cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date at New Harmony Cemetery. Arrangement were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
