Michael Steven Buban, 62, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 2, 2023 at his home.

The son of the late Frank Joseph and Coleene Sue (Campbell) Buban, he was born February 28, 1961 in Kirksville, Missouri.

Michael is survived by one son, Connor Buban of St. Charles, MO; one sister, Sandra Puentes of Austin, TX; as well as two nieces, Nicole Hartje and Heather Joseph both of Austin, TX.

Michael was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1979. He resided in St. Louis a number of years and worked in maintenance and surveying for the City of St. Louis. He later returned to Kirksville and worked in construction. Michael enjoyed following Cardinal baseball and working in construction.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.

No public visitation will be held.
