Vickie Marlene (Yadon) Hogan, 70 years of age, passed away on Thursday, December 7th at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

Vickie was born December 10th, 1952 in Kirksville, Missouri to the late Kenneth Yadon and Virginia Athon. Vickie attended Green City R-I in Green City Missouri. Vickie married the late Leonard Edward Hamlin of LaPlata Missouri and had one son. She then married the late Michael Louis Airaghi of Fulton Missouri and had one daughter - Christina Marlene Airaghi that preceded her in death as an infant. Vickie also married the late Jack Hogan of Clearwater, Florida and they adopted four children together. Vickie loved caring for people and worked as a home health nurse for as long as her health conditions allowed.

Vickie spent her end years making friends with everyone she met. She loved people and never knew a stranger. Vickie held a strong Christian faith and loved the Lord fiercely. She attended the Methodist Church in Green Castle Missouri until her health deterred her from getting out. Then, every Sunday she worshiped at home with her mother, Virginia, by watching Pastor Jimmy Swaggart.

Vickie is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Yadon and step-father Everett Athon. She was also preceded by step-brother Terry Athon.

Vickie is Survived by her mother, Virginia Athon (Kirksville, MO) and brothers Gary Yadon (Doris Yadon-Branson, MO) and Robert Athon (Lisa Athon-Green Castle, MO); Step-Siblings Gary Everett Athon (Margaret Athon- Lexington, KY) and Jean Campbell (Jim Campbell-Carrollton, MO).

Vickie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Scott Wayne Hamlin (Mandi Hamlin-Columbia, MO), Jonathon Hogan (Clearwater, FL), Allison Hogan (Clearwater, FL), Alisha Hogan (Clearwater, FL), and Zach Hogan (Clearwater, FL); Eight grandchildren, Lane Scott Hamlin (Paris, Mo), Raychel Jean Ford (Trae Ford-Moberly, MO), Oliver Barrett Wayne Hamlin (Columbia, MO), Malachi Aron (Clearwater, FL), Joshua Hogan and Jamison Wade (Clearwater, FL), and Ava and Zakia Hogan (Clearwater, FL); One great grandson Lennox Che Ford (Moberly, MO).

Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2023 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Doug Athon officiating.
