Martha Matilda Barnhill, 91, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Born January 5, 1932 in Kirksville, Missouri, Martha was the daughter of the late Ira and Mary (Daharish) Barnhill. She was also preceded in death by five brothers, Earl, Tom, Charlie, Roy, and Raymond; and four sisters, Nada Yadon, Belle Vaude, Jean Kearns, and Jeanie Waddill.

Martha is survived by several nieces and nephews, whom she loved spending time with.

Martha was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1951. She was employed a number of years at Florsheim Shoe Factory. She enjoyed working as a volunteer for RSVP, for the Nutrition Site, and was an active member of Hamilton Street Baptist Church of Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Terry Hunsaker officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Martha's nephews.
