Clarence Berdean Walker, 83, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022 at Boone County Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

The son of the late Georgia Freeman and Velma Viola (Kimmel) Walker, he was born August 2, 1939 in Hartford, Missouri. On March 25, 1960, Clarence was united in marriage to Berneice Joan Burgin who preceded him in death on August 1, 2017. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Darlene Floyd and Carolene Bauer, and two brothers, Robert and Gary Walker.

Clarence is survived by his daughter, Renee Lucille Walker of Greentop, MO; one brother Ronnie Walker and Donna Bradshaw of Columbia, MO, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Clarence attended grade school at Olive Hill rural school east of Kirksville, and was a graduate from Brashear High School. He served his country in the United States Army. Clarence worked thirty-two years for General Motors in Kansas City, Kansas until retiring in 1999. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers, weed eaters, and tractors.

Clarence was a life member of Kirksville V.F.W. Post #2508, of United Auto Workers, and of the Glenwood Assembly of God Church.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Hazel Creek Cemetery, northwest of Kirksville, Missouri, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home, with Pastor Robin McCullar officiating. No public visitation will be held.
