Patricia Marie (Fergason) Glidewell, 92, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at The Pines in Kirksville.

Born July 9, 1929 in Kirksville, Missouri (Mulberry area) Pat was the daughter of the late Stephen Charles and Lona (Irons) Fergason. On December 2, 1950 Patricia was united in marriage to Kenneth Granville Jacobs in Kirksville, Missouri who preceded her in death on September 14, 1971. She later married Raymond Glidewell who preceded her in death on March 31, 2001. Pat was also preceded in death by one brother, John Fergason, and one sister, Dorothy Fergason.

Pat is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Connie Jacobs, and Stephen and Carolyn Jacobs all of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Sarah Bowers of Kirksville, MO; one step-daughter, Vicki Glidewell of Kirksville, MO; one niece, Brenda (Fergason) Woodcock of Topeka, KS; six grandchildren, Chris Bowers, Jason Bowers, Kenneth Jacobs, Kristin (Jacobs) Alexander, Stephanie (Jacobs) Jensen, and Ryan Jacobs, as well as eleven great-grandchildren.

Patricia attended Mulberry School and after moving to Kirksville Washington School and Kirksville High School graduating in 1947. She then graduated from Missouri College of Beauty Culture under Norma Summers in 1948. Pat opened and operated her own beauty salon on July 9, 1950. She later continued working in cosmetology while managing apartments in Kirksville.

Pat enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing, and studying the Bible but most of all she loved and enjoyed time spent with her family.

Private Graveside services were held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville with Dwight Buckingham presiding.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Patricia may be made to First Christian Church Children's Camp, The Pines Employee's Fund, or to Mulberry Cemetery Fund, and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
