Kendall Robert Sisson, 83, of Kirksville, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, March 13, 2022. Kendall was born on October 19, 1938, at his family home south of Cambridge, Nebraska. Growing up on a farm was something Kendall was very proud of.

On January 27, 1957, Kendall was united in marriage with Janet Rose McCollum of Culbertson, Nebraska. Shortly after marriage, they moved to Missouri where Kendall was hired to work at McDonnell Douglas (Boeing). Later, he worked for the Missouri Highway Department and eventually was hired at the St. Louis County Water Company where he worked until he retired. Kendall was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Kirksville, MO where he and his wife attended for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Rose Sisson of Kirksville, MO.; son Craig Alan Sisson and wife Lucy of Kirksville, MO.; daughter-in-law Debbie Sisson of Wentzville, MO.; 6 grandchildren: Keith Sisson and wife Katie of Troy, MO.; Robyn Sisson of Manchester, MO.; Amber Sisson of Kirksville, MO.; Aimee Smith and husband Ryan of Wright City, MO.; Angela Sisson of Kirksville, MO.; Alicia Sisson of Kirksville, MO.; 3 great grandchildren: Brayden Wood, Maggie Sisson, and Kendall Sisson. 2 Sisters: Carolyn Ellsworth and husband Lew of Sterling, CO.; Norma Paxton of Sterling, CO.; Sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and acquaintances.

Kendall was preceded in death by his eldest son Kevin Robert Sisson; 2 brothers: Gerald Sisson and Rodney Sisson; his mother and father; mother-in law; fathers-in-law; and other family members.

Kendall enjoyed raising cattle; hunting and fishing with his family and friends on his farms; trips to Nebraska with family and friends for pheasant hunting; doing yard work and raising gardens.

Services for Kendall will be held on March 26, 2022, at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, MO. with visitation from 1p.m. -2p.m. and the funeral service at 2p.m. A burial service will follow at Concord Cemetery near Bethel, MO.

Pallbearers will be Keith Sisson, Ryan Smith, Mark Sharpe, John Hopkins, Link Maggart, and Billy Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Tubbs, and Gary Sharpe.

Memorial contributions may be made to Southside Baptist Church, and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
