Robert Lee Beaty, 57, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at his home.

Born April 24, 1964 in Kirksville, Missouri, Robert was the son of the late Richard Edward and Genevee Chloejuel (Rowland) Beaty. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Michael Dean Beaty. Robert was united in marriage to Gleea Glaspie and to this union his daughter Kara was born. On December 27, 2003 in Greentop, Missouri, Robert married Lila Nelson who survives.

Robert is also survived by his daughter Kara (Matthew) Trucke of Macon, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Cathy Sue and Doug Watt of Queen City, MO; and eight grandchildren, Brooke Whittom, Blake Whittom, Landon Whittom, Ethan Trucke, Owen Trucke, Emmett Trucke, Silas Trucke, and Ronan Trucke; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert resided his entire life in Kirksville and Greentop and was a graduate from Schuyler County High School. He was employed many years for Tires and Tailpipes and at the time of his death worked for Action Cycles.

Robert enjoyed RC cars, drones, motorcycles, hunting, was a good mechanic who could work on most anything, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Robert was a member of the Greentop Baptist Church.

Private family services were held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Burial followed at Lone Pine Cemetery in Martinstown, Missouri.

Pallbearers were Blake Whittom, Landon Whittom, John March, Steve March, Curtis Barnes, Jeff Watt. Honorary pallbearers were Randy Sapp, Rich Rowland, Matthew Trucke, Tommy Barrett.
