Larry Phillip Rogers, 51, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, February 25, 2022 at his home.

Larry was born April 20, 1970 in Kirksville, Missouri, the son of Larry Junior and Lenora Bessie (Pinkerton) Rogers. On November 5, 2010, Larry married Rhonda Powell.

Larry is survived by his wife Rhonda; his parents, Larry and Lenora Rogers of Kirksville, MO; two daughters, Earlene Rogers of Kirksville, MO, and Larinda (Matt) Thompson of Green Castle, MO; two step-sons, Blaine Raine and Broxton (Morgan) Powell both of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Lesley Rogers (Tina Williams) of LaPlata, MO; eleven grandchildren, Bella, Lilly, Tori, Ellie, Leethen, Zachariah, Larry Dean, Corey, Racsan, Kayden, and Oaklynn, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Larry was a graduate from the Green Castle Christian School. He worked for Mark Twain Concrete Company before going to work as an over the road truck driver. Larry later worked for Mark Anderson Construction Company and last was employed at Truman State University in Kirksville.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, truck pulls, demolition derby's, NASCAR, and had a great love for his dog Rudy. Larry had a huge heart and a great love for his family.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Aaron Rodgers officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday the 1st of March for one hour before the service. Interment will follow the service at Ownbey Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Lesley Rogers, Broxton Powell, Matthew Thompson, George Groseclose, Marty Jones, and Charles Downey.

Memorial donations in memory of Larry and be left to his father, Larry Rogers (in care of a head stone) and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
