Dustin William Garman, 34, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born April 6, 1988 in Kirksville, Missouri, Dustin was the son of Darrel William and Henrietta (Butler) Garman.

Dustin is survived by his parents, Darrel and Henrietta Garman of Kirksville, MO; one son, Dalen Garman of Kirksville, MO; his nanny, Jessie Marie Garman of Kirksville, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Jo Lynn and Marty Lunsford of Kirksville, MO; two uncles, J.P. (Diana) Butler, and R.L. (Terri) Butler; three aunts, Carol (Steve) Holt, Bert (Dennis) Snyder, and Mary Davidson; one niece, Morgan Lunsford of Kirksville, MO; one nephew, Jacob Lunsford of Kirksville, MO; as well as several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Freda Butler, and Buddy Garman.

Dustin was a graduate of Kirksville High School with the Class of 2006. He was employed for Coy Boat Works and last for S&S Construction Company.

Dustin enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback ridding, watching Cardinal baseball, riding dirt bikes, shooting shells with the coyote group, and working on his 1977 Ford with his dad. Most of all Dustin loved time spent with his son and family.

Dustin was a member of the Kirksville Moose Lodge 1751 and of the 66 Wrangler Saddle Club.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Doug Athon presiding. Family will receive friends starting at 12:00 until service time in the chapel. Interment will follow the service at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.
