Novelle (Pommer) Meredith, 89, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

Born August 22, 1932 in Leavenworth, Kansas, Novelle was the daughter of the late Ernest John and Helen Novelle (Howard) Pommer. On November 27, 1952 in Leavenworth, Kansas, Novelle was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Meredith who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Thomas Meredith, and one daughter, Susan Meredith.

Novelle is survived by three sons, Scott (Pat) Meredith, John Meredith, and Mike Meredith, and one daughter, Gayle (Jeff) Hauser, as well as a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Novelle was a graduate from Leavenworth High School in Kansas. She worked as a church secretary for many years.

Novelle's greatest joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Novelle has been cremated and no service will be held. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
