Harold Dean Baugher, 82, of Kirksville, Missouri, went to be with thee Lord on Monday, August 30, 2021 at The Pines in Kirksville.

Born January 19, 1939 in Kirksville, Missouri, Harold was the son of the late Cloid and Ina (Kropp) Baugher. On December 31, 1963 in Quincy, Illinois, Harold was united in marriage to Janyce Ledford.

Harold is survived by wife Janyce of fifty-seven years; two sons, Tony Baugher and Monty Baugher both of Savannah, GA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Jeff Dodson of Novinger, MO, and Karla and Darrin Jones of Green Castle, MO; one sister, Thelma Daniels of Novinger, MO; fifteen grandchildren, Lonny (Becky) Baugher, Joslin Baugher, Jon (Nancy) Baugher, Stephanie Baugher, Monty Wayne Baugher, Ian (Vanessa) Sthole, Austin (Samantha) Sthole, Evan (Havilah) Sthole, Adrian Dodson, Nathan (Brooke) Dodson, Bethany (Adam) Voight, Caleb Dodson, Meghan Jones, and Jessica Jones; many great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Michael Baugher and his infant son, Jonathan Jeffrey Baugher, and one sister, Lucille Sanford.

Harold was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1956. He began a welding career for International Harvester/Kewaunee in Texas and in Iowa until returning back to Kirksville to continue his job with Kewaunee. Harold later went to work for Truman State University in maintenance/ground keeper where he was employed a number of years until his retirement.

Harold enjoyed farming, woodworking, boating, camping, hunting, and loved fishing. He was a lifetime member of the Bass Fishing Club and member of the United Methodist Church of Kirksville. Harold was a good neighbor, a good friend, and his love for family had no boundaries. He is much loved and will be missed dearly.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Harold will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the West Chariton Fellowship Church in Novinger, Missouri, with his son-in-law, Pastor Jeff Dodson officiating.

Arrangement were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
