Rickie Carl "Rick" Pinkerton, 61, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the LaPlata nursing Home.

Born July 6, 1960 in Kirksville, Missouri, Rick was the son of Wilmer Carl and Paulene May (Dupree) Pinkerton. In 1981, Rick married Linda Morrison. On July 5, 2015 he married Joyce Crawford.

Rick is survived by his mother, Paulene Pinkerton of Green Castle, MO; two sons, Sean and Carl Pinkerton both of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Vicki Clark of Kirksville, MO; and one grandchild.

Rick was preceded in death by his father and his brother-in-law, Danny Clark.

Rick was a graduate from Novinger High School with the Class of 1978. He was a longtime mechanic and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time on his CB Radio.

Public visitation will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. and followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Trav is-Noe Funeral Home, with Alan Coonfield officiating. Interment will follow the service at Green Castle Cemetery in Green Castle.
