Charles Thomas "Tom" Shrouf, 72, of Novinger, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the University Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Born March 9, 1949 in Concordia, Kansas, Tom was the son of Jack Dean and Opal Joy (Mullins) Shrouf. On September 21, 1968 in Kirksville, Missouri, Tom was united in marriage to Carol Jean Sanders.

Tom is survived by his wife Carol; his mother, Opal Shrouf of LaPlata, MO; two sons, Garry (Peggy) Blackburn of Liberty, MO, and Jeff (Amy) Shrouf of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Sherry (Mike) Yadon of Kirksville, MO; three brothers, Gary (Lisa) Shrouf of Hurdland, MO, Jackie Shrouf and David Shrouf both of LaPlata, MO; one sister, Kristy (Ron) Robinson of LaPlata, MO; six grandchildren, Kiefer (Haley) Yadon, Kyle Yadon and fiancée Madisyn Blunk, Kendra Shrouf, Baylee Blackburn and Blake Blackburn; three great-grandchildren, Piper Jo Yadon, Jett Shrouf, and Tripp Shrouf, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Tom was preceded in death by his father and one grandson, Austin Lofton.

Tom was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1967. He was employed thirty years as a Union Iron Worker.

Tom loved fishing, hunting, camping, tinkering in his garage, and playing horseshoes, but most of all he loved time spent with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered for helping anyone he could.

Public visitation will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 starting at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Yadon, Ron Robinson, Kiefer Yadon, Jeff Shrouf, Garry Blackburn, and Mike Yadon.
