Dallie Leon Claybrook, 87, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away, Monday, July 26, 2021 at Macon Samaritan Hospital in Macon, MO.

Dallie was born November 18, 1933 in Hurdland, Missouri, the son of the late Mike and Nova (Stoneking) Claybrook. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Wayne Claybrook and was the last of several siblings.

Dallie is survived by his companion of thirty-eight years, Imogene Becker of Newark, MO; daughter-in-law, Ellen Partin of Kirksville, MO; his grandchildren, Crystal, John, and Darren and their families; Imogene's children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were also a big part of Dallie's life, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.

Dallie attended rural schools around Kirksville and Hurdland counties. He served time in the United States Army and honorably discharged in September of 1963. Dallie worked various jobs, for Mallory Trucking, Kirksville Plumbing Co, Kirksville School system as a truck and food deliverer to schools from 1976 to 1980, maintenance work for Edina Shoe Factory and McGraw Edison Company of Kirksville, as well as helping with farm work.

Dallie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Public visitation will be held Sunday, August 1, 2021 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Graveside services with Military Honors will follow visitation at 2:00 p.m. at Morelock Cemetery, northwest of Novinger, Missouri, with David Becker preceding.
