Charlotte Grace (Schrage) Holt, 84, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Born November 14, 1936 in Billings, Montana, Charlotte was the daughter of the late Chester Charles and Margaret Elizabeth (Durthe) Schrage. On February 12, 1953 in Kirksville, Missouri Charlotte was united in marriage to Lonnie "Joe" Holt who preceded her in death on December 5, 2019. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Francis Schrage and one sister, Ella Mae Lewis.

Charlotte is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Mary Susan Holt of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Pam Gunnels of Kirksville, MO; three grandchildren, Chris (Brandi) Holt, Tiffany McKeehan, and Tierney Brewer; three great-grandchildren, Bricen and Koenn McKeehan and Liam Brookhart; one great-great-grandchild, Olivia Joe McKeehan; one sister, Barbara Weber of Kirksville, MO; two brothers-in-law, Bob Holt of Kirksville, MO, and Bob Lewis of Gibbs, MO; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Schrage of Edina, MO, and Carol Holt of Kirksville, MO; several nieces and nephews including special niece, Tammy & George Bray.

Charlotte was a graduate from Brashear High School with the Class of 1954. She was employed twenty-two years for International Shoe Factory and worked for Ben Hickman (H.P. Inc.) for nineteen years before retiring.

Charlotte enjoyed cooking, especially for Thanksgiving and Christmas for her family. She also enjoyed following Cardinal baseball, and going to her grandchildren's ball games and sporting events. Charlotte was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

Charlotte's wish was to be cremated and graveside services will be held at a later date at Lutz Cemetery, south of Novinger, Missouri.
