Dorothy Fern (Pipes) Tuttle, 86, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of the late George Arther and Maude Ethel (Mazie) Pipes, she was born July 30, 1934 in Green City, Missouri. Dorothy was united in marriage to Delmas Wayne Tuttle who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Jason and brothers and sisters.

Dorothy is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Elena Tuttle of Kirksville, MO; two grandchildren, Chad Tuttle and wife Tracy Kutmas of Oklahoma, and Jessica McNamara and husband, Sean of Texas; six great-grandchildren, Christopher Kutmas, Nicholas Kutmas, Benjamin Kutmas, Jason McNamara, William "Liam" McNamara, and Sawyer McNamara; several nieces and nephews; as well as two very special people in Dorothy's life, Judy Beckmyer, Joe Merenda, and Bob Jacobs.

Dorothy received her education in the Green City public schools. She enjoyed her work as a cook for Kirksville public school for many years until retiring.

In her younger years, Dorothy enjoyed bowling with her friends and family, dancing, and playing the guitar but her love and passion was her time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorothy was a member of the Kirksville Moose Lodge and First Assembly of God Church.

Public visitation will be held Sunday, June 20, 2021 from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Graveside services with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating, will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City, Missouri.

Pallbearers will be Joe Merenda, John Dillard, Randy Munn, Jerry Jacobs, Brian Shumaker, and Jesse Shively.
