Sherrill Ann (Streeter) Yadon, 78, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

The daughter of James Harold and Lois NaDien (Geiwitz) Streeter, she was born October 5, 1942 in St. Joseph, Missouri. On October 26, 1963 in Kirksville, Missouri, Sherrill was united in marriage to Larry G. Yadon who preceded her in death on May 15, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother Kent Streeter.

Sherrill is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sherry Yadon of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sonja and Michael Hannah of Kirksville, MO and Stacey and Kendal Tade of Novinger, MO; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Warren and Linda Streeter of Des Moines, IA, Roger Streeter of Lake Havasu, AZ, and Greg and Marci Streeter of Omaha, NE; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Larry Andrews of Sierria Vista, AZ; eight grandchildren, Kiefer (Haley) Yadon, Kyle Yadon (Madison Blunk), Alex Hannah, Kyra Hannah (Charlie Shafer), Cameron Partin, Keaton Tade, Logan Tade (Trinity Couch), and Brooklyn Tade; one great-granddaughter, Piper Jo Yadon, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sherrill was a graduate from Unionville High School and attended Missouri State Teacher's College in Kirksville. She was employed for forty years total as a bookkeeper for KOH Hospital, Grim Smith Hospital and last for Northeast Regional Medical Center until retiring.

Sherrill enjoyed going to the fitness center, crafts, reading, and sports.

Public visitation will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 from noon to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Graveside services will follow visitation at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Sherrill may be made to her family and may be made out to her daughter, Sonja Hannah. They may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
