Patricia Kay (McFarland) Hamilton, 78, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Born January 11, 1943 in Kirksville, Missouri, Patricia was the daughter of the late Orie and Beryl (Watts) McFarland. On June 6, 1960 in Kirksville, Missouri, Patricia was united in marriage to William H. Hamilton who preceded her in death on June 3, 1996. She was also preceded in death by her son, Wendell Hamilton; two sisters, Donna and Virginia; and two brothers, Orie and Marvin.

Patricia is survived by one son, Russell Hamilton of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and a son-in-law, Melinda Lewis of Novinger, MO, and Lucinda and Marc Bowen of Kirksville, MO; sister-in-law, Helena McFarland of Ottumwa, IA; five grandchildren, Billy Lewis, Shawn Lewis, Justin Hamilton, Terry Stewart, and Miranda Mayes; eleven great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Patricia was a graduate from Kirksville High School and attended college at Truman State University. She was employed at Lambert Glove Factory, Burrough's, and last for Hollister, Inc. until retiring.

Patricia enjoyed gardening, drawing, and cleaning. She was so very proud of her grandchildren and loved her dog, Kylie.

It was Patricia's wish to be cremated and services be held at a later date. Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
