Lovell Caraway, 80, exchanged the temporal for the eternal as he peacefully passed into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 24, 2021.

Lovell was born to Ellis and Alpha Caraway in Arkansas and moved to Missouri when he began high school.
Lovell earned his bachelors and masters degrees from Washington University and went on to teach mathematics for 31 years. He served as music director for several churches and as camp director during the summers. Later, mission trips and volunteer teaching assignments became a fulfilling part of his life.

Lovell leaves behind his wife Johanna, brother Allen (Linda) Caraway and daughters Debbie Atchison (Steve), Pamela Caraway (Frank Stein) and Lynda Boulicault (Al). He also leaves behind his grandchildren Jake Atchison, A.J. Atchison, Christopher Stein, Juliana Stein, Cate Perry (Tyler) and Meghan Boulicault, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to The Gideons International in Lovell’s memory, and they may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O.
