Jerry Robert Fox, 79, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, Missouri.

Born the son of the late Charles Parks and Ethel Lillian (Lockhart) Fox, he was born March 2, 1940 in Kirksville, Missouri. On February 4, 1959, Jerry married Stella Bray who preceded him in death on August 29, 2005. He was also preceded in death by three children, Arnold, Julie and Donald; two brothers; and two sisters.

Jerry is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Laura Fox of Weatherford, TX, and Erik and Caroline Fox of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and a son-in-law, Roxanna Fox of Green City, MO, and Beth and David Nilson of Brashear, MO; two brothers, Clarence Fox and Larry Fox of Iowa; one sister, Alice Fox of Kirksville, MO; eleven grandchildren, Shelly Salsberry, Bobby Gearhart, Josh Gearhart, Ericka Fox, Latricia Fox, Julee Fox, Jonathon Fox, Tony Raine, Cody Raine, Daneye Parsons, and Travis (Carlee) Nilson; nine great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Jerry received his education in the Kirksville public schools and later received a associate FCC license. He was employed in the power plant at Truman State University for a number of years until retiring. After retiring, Jerry worked as a janitor for Novinger R-I School and for ATSU.

It was Jerry's wish to be cremated and a memorial service to honor his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Central Church of Christ in Kirksville.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jerry may be made to his family in care of his daughter Beth Nilson. They may be left at the memorial service on the 15th or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO.
