Georgia Lee (Collins) Billington, 75, of Greentop, Missouri passed away Friday, December 18 2020 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of the late Ernest (Dotch) and Gertie (Bachman) Collins, she was born December 6, 1945 in Kirksville, Missouri.

She was married to Allen True January of 1964, to this marriage one daughter, Tina Lynn was born. On June 16, 1972 Georgia married Joseph Roger Billington, to this marriage two sons were born, Joseph Clinton and Jeremy Roger.

Georgia is survived by her husband Roger, daughter Tina (Alan) French of Winterhaven, FL and son Jeremy Billington of Cannon AFB in Clovis, NM, one grandson Michael French of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are sister and brother-in-laws, Shirley Aldridge, Sharon Winn, Russell (Tammy) Billington, Sherry (Dan) Collins, John Ray (Wendy) Billington, several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her favorite cat, Miss Kitty.

She was preceded in death by one son in infancy, Joseph Clinton, her parents, a sister Jackie and husband Russell Eitel, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Ramah Billington and brothers-in-law David Aldridge and Lonnie Winn.

Georgia was a graduate with the Class of 1963 from Kirksville High School. She was employed with Hollisters Inc. for 35 years. Georgia loved spending time with family, tending her beautiful flowers, softball, time spent in Florida with her daughter, shopping, and visiting historical sites. Georgia loved going to Jeremy's baseball games, watch him pitch his way to be an All American and then signing on to the minor leagues, with Jeremy's success credited to Georgia being his best catcher.

Georgia attended the First Church of God and later attended the Church of God Holiness reaffirming her faith in God.

Public visitation will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Church of God Holiness in Kirksville, with services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastors David Strong and Ralph Wheeler officiating. Interment will follow the service at Green Castle Cemetery, Green Castle, MO. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Billington, Michael French, John Ray Billington, Alan French, Robert Eitel, Brent Winn, and honorary pallbearers will be Robert Bray, James Bray and Christopher Eitel.

Arrangements will be under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home and memorials in memory of Georgia may be made to the Adair County Humane Society and may be left at Church of God Holiness or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
