Janice Elaine (Sizemore) Snyder, 77, of Kirksville, Missouri, danced her way into Heaven Saturday, December 12, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Janet was born February 20, 1943 in Kirksville, Missouri, to Alfred Bina and Mary Elizabeth (Asher) Sizemore. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rex and Lonnie Sizemore, and one great-granddaughter, Alexia Rian Scott.

Janice is survived by one daughter, Angela Woods of Kirksville, MO; one son, Joe Yadon of Freemont, IA; five brothers, Alfred (Linda) Sizemore of Moline, IL, Dennis Sizemore of Lake Hills, TX, Richard (Sandy) Sizemore of Brashear, MO, Roger (Brenda) Sizemore of Greentop, MO, and John Sizemore of Kirksville, MO. Four sisters, Linda (Bruce) Orr of Kannawick, WA, and Iris Johnson, Elizabeth Kessel, and Teresa (David) Sizemore all of Kirksville, MO. Six grandchildren, Joy (Josh) Munn of Kirksville, MO, Tabetha (Jason) Killian of Tuscumbia, MO, Brandi (Cory) Hagan-Eslinger of Kirksville, MO, Jesse Yadon of Burlington, VT, and Ty Davis and Dallie Davis both of Kirksville, MO. Four great-grandchildren, Atalie Hagan, Ava Hagan, Ace Killian, and Eli Killian as well as a number of nieces and nephews that all loved her dearly.

Janice received her education in the Novinger public schools. She moved to Moline, Illinois where she worked at the state hospital during her early years. She moved back to Kirksville and worked at Hollister, Inc. until retirement. She loved her family and everyone she crossed paths with. Janice enjoyed the outdoors and teaching her grandchildren to plant flowers. She was an animal lover and loved watching nature. She loved music and dancing. Her favorite pastime was playing tricks on others. She loved watching baseball and school sports. Janet impacted so many lives and will be missed by all who knew her.

Public visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Morelock Cemetery northwest of Novinger, Missouri, with Pastor Paul Milliken officiting.
