Priscilla Ann (Novinger) Nuhn, 71, of Novinger, passed away Tuesday (July 3rd, 2019) at her home west of Novinger.
The daughter of Robert R. and Annabelle May (Lawrence) Novinger, she was born October 29, 1947 at Grim Smith Hospital in Kirksville, MO. On October 1, 1966 Priscilla was united in marriage to Gary C. Nuhn. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Priscilla is survived by her husband Gary C. Nuhn, one daughter and one son, Kristine A. and Bradley Polovich of Kirksville, MO and Matthew G. Nuhn of Boston, MA. Two grandsons, Christian (Mary Caitlyn) Polovich of Columbia, MO and Ian Polovich of Kirksville, MO. One sister Glenna (Ron) Wilkinson-Reihl, of Algonquin, IL and one brother, Richard K. (Karen) Novinger of Novinger, MO.
Priscilla and Gary met at NMSU in Kirksville, MO during a psychology class where they were place in alphabetical order. She asked Gary out for their first date on Sadie Hawkins Day to go bowling, and they have spent the last 53 years together!!! Priscilla was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1990. She endured for 29 years with her trusty cane by her side.
Priscilla enjoyed playing cards, games, cooking for family and friends, camping, European, Alaskan, and Mexican vacations, traveling with her scooter throughout the RV park in San Benito, TX. She especially loved fireworks with the two grandsons each year.
Priscilla truly treasured her family, grandsons and the many dear friends she has had thru the years.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019 with family receiving friends from noon to 2:00 p.m. service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Pastor Sheila Swafford will be officiating and interment will follow the service at Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Priscilla may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.

Our hearts are so heavy learning of our dear friend's passing. Tropical Trails will miss you so much. Gary and family we want you to know we cannot attend the funeral since we have family and friends at our cabin over July 4th, but we will be thinking of you and praying for you all. We loved our Patty so much and know that she is well taken care of in the arms of our heavenly father and dancing once again. Our only assurance is that we will see her again.
