Billy Dee Zeigler, 75, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Born February 26, 1944 in Green Castle, Missouri, Bill was the son of the late Thomas Everett and Violet Emma (Dupree) Zeigler. On December 5, 1964 in Kirksville, Missouri, Billy was united in marriage to Linda Joyce Poston who preceded him in death on November 2, 2017. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Wattenburger.

Billy is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Dawn and Danny Cook and Kristen Dee and Herb Cook all of LaPlata, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Deloris Jean and Billy White of Green Castle, MO; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three step grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Billy was a graduate from Green City High School. He worked many years in auto body and painting, for Jim Robertson Chevrolet and last for Sonny's Auto Body until retiring.

Billy loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and collecting guns and was a member of the Edina Bow and Gun Club.

Public visitation will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Graveside services will follow visitation at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Green Castle Cemetery in Green Castle.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Joe White, Billy White, Brent White, Trevor White, Gerald White, and Kendall White.
