David Neil White, 70, of Gleenwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully Friday, March 29, 2019 surrounded by his family.

Born July 15, 1948 in Kirksville, Missouri, David was the son of Billy and Annabelle Buchanan White.

David is survived by his mother of Kirksville, MO; two daughters and a son-in-law, Jessica and Aaron Dominowski of Sioux City, IA and Nicole White of Sioux Falls, S.D.; one brother and sister-in-law, DeWayne and Karen White of Quincy, IL; two grandchildren, Sophia and Caleb Dominowski; one niece, Christal (Rob) Carter; one nephew, Nathan White, as well as his beloved grand dog Vinny.

David was preceded in death by his father and three grandchildren.

David was a graduate of Dallas Center High School in Dallas Center, Iowa and graduated in 1970 with a degree in accounting at Evangel College in Springfield, MO. He farmed on the family farm in Greentop, Missouri. He enjoyed growing produce and vegetables in his garden and greenhouse in Eagleville, MO, where he became known as the "Tomato Man." He spent twenty-five years at the Des Moines Farmers' Market, where he was known for his peaches and top quality produce. David also collected toy tractors and loved his John Deere Tractors. He loved time spent with his grandchildren.

David attended the Assembly of God Church in Des Moines, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2019 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Interment will follow at the Greentop Cemetery in Greentop.

Family will receive friends on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Dominowski, Caleb Dominowski, Nathan White, Rob Carter, Terry Sevits, and Nicole White.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of David may be made to the Schuyler County Nutrition Site or Schuyler County Ministerial Alliance of Lancaster, Missouri, and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
