Margaret "Margo" Allene (Bell) Schneider, 91, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family, under Hospice care.

Born September 4, 1927 in Kirksville, Missouri, Margaret was the daughter of the late William Milton and Flora Isabel (Stone) Bell. On September 23, 1972 in Quincy, Illinois, Margaret was united in marriage to Marvin Dempsey Schneider who preceded her in death on March 6, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her step-daughter, Mary McSparin.

Margo is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Edwin (Cheryl) Miller III of Columbia, MO, Gregory Miller of Kirksville, MO, Shawn (Shannon) Miller of Dallas, GA; one daughter, Michelle Dixon of Greentop, MO; step children, Terry (Debbie) Schneider, Jeff Schneider, and Rick (Tammy) Schneider; one sister, Bonnie Bowzer of Macon, MO; eight grandchildren, Jack (Karin) Miller, Brian Miller, Michael (Jaime) Miller, Shelby Miller, Shane Miller, Seth Miller, Brittani (Blake) Maulsby, and Alexia Dixon; one niece; one nephew; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Margo received her education in the Macon elementary and high schools. She was employed a number of years for the ASCS Office in Macon, Missouri, before going to work for the Social Security Administration in the Northeast Missouri area, where she was employed twenty-one years until retiring. After retiring Margo went to work for Ozark National Life Insurance Company where she was employed eighteen years until retiring again at the age of 78.

Margo enjoyed cooking, Bingo, playing cards, dice games, casino gambling, dancing and traveling. She had a great appreciation for music, nature and animals. Most of all she loved time spent with her family.

Public visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2019 with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Chaplain Carrol Davenport officiating. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Macon.

Pallbearers will be Jack Miller, Brian Miller, Mike Miller, Shane Miller, Seth Miller, and Blake Maulsby.
