Marjorie Louise (Jackson) Partin, 89, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

The daughter of the late Willis Maxwell and Frances Isabelle (Bonnet) Jackson, she was born July 22, 1929 in Kirksville, Missouri. On January 3, 1948 in Adair County, Marjorie was united in marriage to James Robert Partin who preceded her in death on November 5, 1979. Marjorie was also preceded in death by one son, James Roger Partin and one brother, Neal Allen Jackson.

Marjorie is survived by one son, Rex Partin of Kirksville, MO; two sisters, Nancy Forquer of Kirksville, MO, and Bonnie Douglas of Grafton, IL; three grandchildren, Alex Partin, Nicholas Partin, and Eric Cox; three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was a graduate from Kirksville High School and attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College. Marjorie taught at Kirksville Elementary and Trenton public schools until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, history, and working on the family genealogy.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
