Reta "Pauline" (Kimmel) Goodwin, 96, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday February 20, 2019 at Kirksville Manor Care Center.

Born September 21, 1922 in Hartford, Missouri, Pauline was the daughter of the late Frank W. and Eunice Jane (Partin) Kimmel. On June 5, 1946 in Kirksville, Missouri, Pauline was united in marriage to Clarence C. Goodwin who preceded her in death on June 30, 1985. She was also preceded in death by one son Jerry Goodwin in 1999; one grandson, Michael Goodwin in 1965; three sisters, Thelma Walker, Ruby Ruggles, and Wanda Martin; three brothers, Basil, Layton and Icil Kimmel and by her special friend of a number of years, Leon Bowers.

Pauline is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Janie Goodwin of Novinger, MO; three grandchildren, David (Cathy) Goodwin, Dakota Goodwin, and Sheila (Greg) Kreutzman; three great-grandchildren, Jordan Goodwin, Emily Goodwin, and Alexandra Kreutzman, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Pauline was a graduate of Unionville High School. She was employed for McGraw Edison Company in Kirksville for twenty years before going to work in the house keeping department of Kirksville Manor Care where she was employed over eight years until retiring.

Pauline enjoyed going to car shows and blue grass music.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville with Lonnie Burns presiding. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, February 23, 2019 for one hour before service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Greg Kreutzman, Kevin Dormey, David Goodwin, Jordan Goodwin, Emily Goodwin, and Sheila Kreutzman.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Pauline Goodwin may be made to the Highland Park Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
