Curtis Eugene "Gene" Fuller, 79, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 21, 2019 at the LaPlata Nursing Home.

The son of the late Curley and Gertha Joe (Tallant) Fuller, Gene was born July 30, 1939 in Finley, OK. Gene graduated from high school in Oklahoma and went on to the School of the Ozarks Junior College. He worked a number of years for Norfolk & Western Railroad before going to work as an over the road truck driver. Gene was last employed for a company in Edmond, Oklahoma driving a cement truck until his retirement. After his retirement Gene moved to Kirksville to make his home.

Gene is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Judee Fuller of Kirksville, MO; his daughter, Angie Ruggles of Kirksville, MO; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Alice Fuller of Oklahoma City, OK, as well as six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sherry Fuller; one sister, JoAnne Peters and his son-in-law, Rusty Ruggles.

It was Gene's wish to be cremated and no service he held.
