Nathan Dean Dunlap, 36, of Macon, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, June 22, 2018 in Clark, Missouri.

Born August 5, 1981 in Kirksville, Missouri, Nathan was the son of Dennis and Glenda (West) Dunlap.

Nathan is survived by his mother and step-father, Glenda and Marvin Flynn of Kirksville, MO; grandmother, Janice Booth of Green City, MO; two sons, Quincy and Landon Dunlap both of Salem, OR; two daughters, Cheyenne Dunlap of Salem, OR, and Marie Martinez of Macon, MO; two brothers, Larry West of St. Charles, MO and Timothy Dunlap of Kirksville, MO; four sisters, Laura West of Austin, TX, Jennifer Miller of Evansville, IN, Kelli Dunlap and Eric Schaffer of Novinger, MO, and Amelia Dunlap of Macon, MO; two step-brothers, Ed Flynn and wife Linda of Kirksville, MO, and Jerry Flynn of Greentop, MO; one step-sister, Angie (Flynn) Dorris and husband Joe of Martinstown, MO; five uncles; eight aunts; two step-uncles, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Dennis Dunlap; his twin son, Quentin Dunlap; grandparents, Eugene Dunlap, and Glen and Alice West, and two uncles, Leon McKinley and Christopher Allen West.

Nathan received his education in the Kirksville public schools. He moved to Oregon for a short time before returning back to Kirksville. At the time of his death, Nathan was residing in Macon, Missouri, where he was employed for Advanced Disposal.

He enjoyed baseball, basketball, billiards, bowling, gun and bow hunting, and dancing. He was a proud father and loved spending time with his children.

Public visitation will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Harold Engel officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Green City, MO.

Pallbearers will be Travis Williams, Kyle Couch, Tyrel Couch, Cody Persell, Shane Alertsen, Adam Warren, James St. James, and Donald Travis. Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Conklin, Mike Mason, Mike McVay, Danny Dunlap, Darren Dunlap, Craig Hicks, and Kevin Hubbard.

Memorials may be made to the Nathan Dunlap Memorial Fund for further education of his children and checks may be made out to his mother, Glenda Flynn. They may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
