Calvin Rodell Kelsall, 83, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Kirksville Manor Care Center in Kirksville.

The son of the late Alfred Everett and Gladys E. (Kopp) Kelsall, he was born November 29, 1934 in Fair View, Kansas. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ben and Don Kelsall and one sister, Ramah Ireland.

Calvin is survived by one son, John Kelsall of Kirksville, MO; one brother, Tim Kelsall of Kirksville, MO; two grandchildren, Cole and Olivia Kelsall, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Calvin was a graduate from Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, Missouri. He drove a truck for several years before owning the Chula Bar in Chula, Missouri. He was last employed forty-eight years for Donaldson's Manufacturing Company until retiring.

Calvin loved the great outdoors, hunting, playing pool, and going on Motorcycle Poker Runs.

He was a past member of the Moose Lodge Post 1751 of Kirksville, a member of the NRA and of the American Motorcycle Association.

It was Calvin's wish to be cremated and a memorial service to honor his life will be held 6:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 13th for one hour before the memorial service.
