Beverly 'Jeanne" Talbert, 76, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

She was born December 2, 1941 in New Sharon, Iowa, the daughter of the late Rex Edmond and Nellie (Veerman) Talbert. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Donna Meeker.

Jeanne is survived by one brother, Lyle Talbert (Carolyn) of Novinger, MO; two sisters, Cheryl Goldsberry and Marsha Drury both of Greentop, MO, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeanne resided in rural Greentop, Missouri her entire life and received her education in the Pleasant Grove rural school. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working on the farm with the animals. She also enjoyed baby sitting, gardening, fishing, was a very good cook, but most of all loved time spent with her family.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 with family receiving friends one hour before the service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville. Pastor Sonny Smyser will officiate the service and interment will follow the service at Greentop Cemetery in Greentop, MO.

Pallbearers will be Justin Talbert, Rodney Schoonover, Cory Drury, Riley Johnson, Chase Howerton, and Curtis Talbert. Honorary pallbearers will be Lowell Talbert, Doyle Talbert, Keith Talbert and John McKim.
