John "Phillip" March, 63, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his home.

Born March 28, 1955 in Kirksville, Missouri, Phillip was the son of Joe and Frances (Drummond) March. In August of 1974 in Brashear, Missouri, Phillip was united in marriage to Cathy Hill, who survives.

He is also survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Cole and Jennifer March of Raymore, Missouri, and Caleb and Carrie March of Queen City, Missouri; one daughter, Chandi March of Brashear; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mark and Roma March of Willmathsville, Missouri, and Jim and Monica March of Willmathsville; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary Beth and Richard Kosowski of Macon, Georgia; and eight grandchildren.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David March.

Phillip was a graduate of Brashear High School with the Class of 1973. He lived all of his life in Adair and Schuyler counties. Phillip was self-employed as a farmer most of his life.

Farming was his passion. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2018 in the Willmathsville Cemetery in Willmathsville, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
