Lisa Garilene (Johnson) Walker, 53, of Hurdland, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018 at her son's home in Kirksville, MO, under Hospice Care.

Lisa was born June 22, 1965 in Marion, Iowa, the daughter of Glen Gary and Virginia Mae (McFarland) Johnson, who divorced. When Lisa was 9 months old, her father Gary married Shirley Mae Baker of Kalona, Iowa and Shirley raised Lisa as her own along with her older sister and brother. She married Sam Helm and to this union one daughter was born. She later married Claude Walker Jr. and to this union two sons were born.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Shirley Mae Johnson of Kirksville, MO; two sons, Dakota (Miranda) Walker of Brashear, MO, and David Walker of Kirksville, MO; one daughter, Magen Veach of Kirksville, MO; three brothers, Orie (Bonnie) Johnson, and James (Suzan) Johnson all of Hedrick, IA, and Gary Johnson of Kirksville, MO; four sisters, Glenda (Marvin) Magruder of Gibbs, MO, Paula (Mark) Dearborn of Bloomfield, IA, Angie (Jeremy) Aldridge of Kirksville, MO, and Kayla Johnson of Macon, MO; four grandchildren, Travis Helm, and Payden, Montana and Saturn Veach; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father and her birth mother; grandparents, Glen Johnson, Lela Hubbard Johnson, James Baker, Lillian Everly Baker; and one brother, Glen "Buster" Johnson Jr.

Lisa was a graduate from Davis County High School in Bloomfield, IA with the Class of 1983 and attended Moberly Area Community College studying Criminal Justice. She had worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory, Ortech, Missouri Loan Center, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and was last for Cenveo Envelope Factory.

Lisa enjoyed gardening, riding motorcycles, and landscaping, but most of all she loved time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with family receiving friends from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Refuge Cemetery, northeast of Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be L. David Walker, Tristin Smith, Mark Dearborn, Wesley Johnson, Wyatt Johnson, and John Gooch. Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Johnson and Travis Helm.
