Gene Marie (Creamer) Bradley, 97, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday October 7, 2018 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Born October 25, 1920 in Texarkana, Arkansas, Gene was the daughter of the late Sidney Johnson and Mina Luella (Rees) Creamer. On August 8, 1941 in Brookfield, Missouri, Gene was united in marriage to Hollis Bradley, who preceded her in death on September 5, 1980. Gene was also preceded in death by one grandson, Travis Bradley and one sister, Margaret Bradford.

Gene is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Jennifer Bradley and Michael and Kathy Bradley all of Kirksville, MO; four grandchildren, Ryan (Tara) Bradley, Chris (Shiloh) Bradley, Holly Bradley and Maggie Bradley; four great-grandchildren, Dalton Bradley, Rachel Bradley, Elijah Bradley, and Elizabeth Bradley, as well as one niece and one nephew.

Gene was a graduate from New Cambria High School and attended Kirksville State Teacher's College. She lost her parents at the early age of six and was raised by her grandparents Jon and Margaret Rees in New Cambria. Gene lived in the same house on a farm east of Kirksville for sixty-five years and was employed thirty years in bookkeeping at the First National Bank until retiring in 1985.

Gene enjoyed playing the piano and organ, watching football and basketball, and reading, but most of all, loved time spent with her family.

Gene was a member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ of Kirksville where she taught the Sunday School Kindergarten for class many years.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville with Janice Legg officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time. Interment will follow the service at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Bradley, Dalton Bradley, Chris Bradley, Maggie Bradley, Dick Gooch, and Dwight Buckingham.
