Randall Glenn Hamilton, 67, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, June 25, 2017 while in Silverdale, Washington.

Randy was born October 14, 1949 in Kirksville, Missouri, the son of Hollis Glen and Betty Jean (Turner) Hamilton. On June 17, 1972 in Kirksville, Missouri, Randy was united in marriage to Judy Wright.

Randy is survived by his wife, Judy (Wright) Hamilton; one son, Brian Hamilton of Savoy, IL; one daughter and son-in-law, Jenny and David Trampp of Silverdale, WA; four grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, Jacob and Emma Trampp; his mother, Betty Beerbower of Kirksville, MO; and one brother, and sister-in-law, Ron and Phyllis Hamilton of Kirksville, MO.

He was preceded in death by his father Glen Hamilton and his grandparents.

Randy graduated from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1967. He worked for thirty years at Burroughs and Standard Register. Randy then worked for the City of Kirksville for several years and most recently drove for OATS. Randy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved meeting people and swapping stories. Randy was an avid reader and Bluegrass music fan. A gentle, kindhearted man, he found great joy in helping anyone he could. He enjoyed spending time with his family, children, and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville with interment following the service at Maple Hills Cemetery in Kirksville.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 1, 2017 from noon until service time in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Austin Trampp, Jacob Trampp, David Trampp, Ed Turner, Keith Turner, Roger Turner, John Wright, and Matt Wilson.
