Quentin Fechtling Sayre, 62, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, March 20, 2017 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville.

Born September 8, 1954 in Kirksville, Missouri, Quentin was the son of the late Fred and Evelyn (Fechtling) Sayre. On October 23, 1987 in Indianola, Iowa, Quentin was united in marriage to Sharon Wallace.

Quentin is survived by his wife Sharon of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Tiffany Sayre of Livonia, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Bo Yearns of Lancaster, MO; one grandson, Jethro Yearns; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Fred Sayre, and one child in infancy.

Quentin resided most of his life in Martinstowm and was a dairy farmer for over twenty-five years. He enjoyed farming, working in his shop, hunting, and rebuilding jeeps and motorcycles.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017 at Lone Pine Cemetery near Martinstown, Missouri, with Chaplain Steve Johnson officiating.

Family will receive friends on Friday, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. before the graveside service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
