Beverly "Susie" Brewer, 71, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home under the care of Hospice and family by her side.

Born October 14, 1945 in Kirksville, Missouri, Beverly was the daughter of the late Vernon Turner and Bonnie Ellen (Cox) Noe. On October 12, 1968 Beverly was united in marriage to Wayne Brewer and to this union three children were born.

Beverly is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Kristi Brewer of Sedalia, MO, and Jeff and Tierney Brewer of Kirksville, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Jason Nichols of Centralia, MO; one brother, Robert Eugene "Bob" Noe of Kirksville, MO; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Noe and Eva Jane Noe both of Kirksville, MO; seven grandchildren, Madison Brewer, Kale Nichols, Calvin Brewer, Carson Brewer, Liam Brookhart, Sidney Jeffries, and Lauren Nichols; several nieces and nephews; special friend of twenty-seven years, Larry Athon of Kirksville, MO; and Tami Western/High who had been part of her family since 1990 and considered part of the family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Grace Masten; two brothers, Vernon Dale "Bud" Noe and William "Bill" Noe; two nephews, Dennis Noe and Tom Masten; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Noe; and one brother-in-law, C.R. Masten.

Beverly was a graduate from Kirksville High School with the Class of 1963 and graduated from Northeast Missouri State University in 1969 with a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics. From 1989 to 2014, Beverly worked at Four Horizons Realty as a broker and property manager, and was a member of the Board of Realtors and of the Missouri Association of Realtors.

Beverly held every office at a local level with the Jaycee Wives, was a member of Beta Sigma Phi for forty-five years holding every office once or twice as well as being a regional coordinator, was a member of Ladies of the Moose and judged many pageants throughout the state of Missouri.

Beverly loved gardening, camping, raising iris's, family trips to the Cardinal games, but most of all the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Public visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2017 with family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Doug Athon officiating. Interment will follow the service at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Brewer, Jeff Brewer, Jason Nichols, Kale Nichols, Calvin Brewer, Donnie Maag, and Lewis Major. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Athon, Bob Noe, Madison Brewer, Carson Brewer, Liam Brookhart, and Sidney Jeffries.

Expressions of sympathy in memory of Beverly "Susie" Brewer may be made to Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Travis-Noe Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, Kirksville, MO 63501.
