Larry Joe Hamilton, 61, of Greentop, Missouri, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at Kirksville Manor Care in Kirksville.

Born January 10, 1956 in Kirksville, Missouri, Larry was the son of the late Robert and Ramona (Madden) Hamilton.

Larry was also preceded in death by one son, Joseph Lee Hamilton; one brother, Terry Van Hamilton; and two sisters, Sarah "Jeanne" (Hamilton) Watt and Bobby June Gunnels.

Larry is survived by one son, Chad Wyant and wife Lisa of Unionville, MO; one sister, Linda Gordy of Kirksville, MO; two grandchildren, Byran Wyant and wife Ariele and Lexi Wyant; one great-grandchild, Braelyn Wyant, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Larry was a graduate from Kirksville High School and worked many years as an over the road truck driver. He resided most of his life in the Greentop area and enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting guns, and deer hunting. He also had a big heart for helping others and loved kids.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge #1751 of Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville, with Pastor Virgil Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at New Harmony Cemetery west of Greentop.

Family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 for one hour prior to the service in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Cooper, Jeff Watkins, Jeff Lewis, Dennis Robinson, Bobby Summers, and Rusty Roberts.
