Virginia Marie Sanders, 58, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Born February 10, 1958 in Kirksville, Missouri, Virginia was the daughter of Jackie Paul and Mary Ruth (Warner) Potter. On May 31, 1975 in Lineville, Iowa, Virginia was united in marriage to Tom Sanders.

Virginia is survived by her husband Tom of the home; her mother, Ruth Boman of Kirksville, MO; three daughters, Serena Sanders, Crystal Sanders, and Tabitha Sanders all of Kirksville, MO; two brothers, Tracey Potter of Kirksville, MO, and Jerry Hatcher of LaPlata, MO; three sisters, Brenda Herron, Susan Robinson and Marjorie Baird all of Kirksville, MO, as well as three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack and one brother, Stacey Potter.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Highland Park Cemetery in Kirksville.

Arrangements will be under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.
