Danny "Rex" Sizemore, 67, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Sunday April 24, 2016 at his home under Hospice care.

The son of Alfred B. and Mary E. (Asher) Sizemore, he was born January 31, 1949 in Kirksville, Missouri. On October 26, 1973 in Kirksville, Rex was united in marriage to Consina Clubine who preceded him in death on April 22, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lonnie Sizemore and another sibling in infancy.

Rex is survived by one daughter Dannie Sizemore of Kirksville, MO; two step sons, Mike Dennis of Hurdland, MO and Richard King of Kirksville, MO; one step daughter, Sheri Murray of LaPlata, MO; five brothers, Alfred Sizemore of Prophet, IL, Dennie Sizemore of TX, Ricky Sizemore of Brashear, MO, Roger Sizemore of Kirksville, MO, and John Sizemore of Connelsville, MO; five sisters, Janet Snyder, Linda Orr, Iris Johnson, Becky Kissel, and Teresa Kimble all of Kirksville, MO; eleven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Rex was a former employee for Kirksville Parks & Recreation. He enjoyed talking on CB Radio's, stock cars, hunting, fishing, working on old radio's and was an avid collector of Indian artifacts, arrow heads and flint.

Rex was a loving and caring father, grandfather and friend.

No public visitation will be held.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Morelock Cemetery, northwest of Novinger, Missouri, under the direction of Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
