John Andrew Glaspie, 45, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, Missouri.

Born January 13, 1971 in Kirksville, Missouri, John was the son of Larry and Karen (Maize) Glaspie.

John is survived by his mother, Karen Osborn of Kirksville, MO; his step-father who raised him, Terry Osborn and wife Linda of Elmer, LA; one brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Amy Osborn of Kirksville, MO; one sister, Chris Ann Clark of Kirksville, MO; niece, Terri Fountain and husband Jason of Kirksville, MO; one great-niece, Jessie Osborn and other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry E. Glaspie and his grandparents.

John received his education in the Kirksville Public schools. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with his great niece, Jessie Lynn.

Public visitation will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at Travis-Noe Funeral Home in Kirksville.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Maize, Jacob Maize, Michael Maize, Marty Maize, Cody Maize and John Lewis.

John will be cremated following his funeral service
